Pretty Project Peeks

I didn't think I was allowed to talk about the show, so I haven't told you yet, but I am busy, busy this week gearing up for my HGTV debut.  We begin shooting on Wednesday and I really cannot wait to get my designs in front of the camera.  In the meantime, I love seeing my Atlanta projects come to life!  Here's a little look at what I've been up to around town -
this just in! desk I designed for a residence in Suwanee

Stripes, ikat and faux bois - pillow couture!

Happily "fostering" these 2 chairs in my living room.
More on the show later.  I sound silly on camera.  That I know now.  Oh, I also went to see a garden tour in Cashiers, NC a few weeks ago.  It was ridiculously awesome.  You know I took pics.  Will share them soon.  Posted lots to Twitter because that's faster than blogging, so do check out my tweets (ClaireatCWID) if you want to see.  Will also tweet from the set this week!

With so many vintage and handmade vendors, Etsy is a tremendous online resource.  Similarly- with so many vendors, I sometimes find the growing number of Etsy vendors a little overwhelming.   I'm listing my favorite vendors to help you sort through the muck.  I even used a few of these Etsy vendors as my go-to for dressing up the dining room of the winner of HGTV's "Dress Up Your Design" contest, Alix.  Be sure to check out Alix's dining room on  HERE!

1.  All Organic Textiles: colorful flat-weave Turkish towels and scarves

2.  A Curated Shop: hand dyed and sewn ombre linen pillows- perfect for Spring

3.  High Street Market: all kinds of chic vintage scores, recently added custom pillows

4.  NICOLECOHEN: abstract art and killer accessories

5.  Messicakes: Large scale acrylic artwork in vibrant colors
6.  Emily Mustard: eclectic vintage housewares

 Happy Thursday, you guys!

When I first started blogging last year, Camila was the first person to add HighGlossBlue to her blogroll.  Then a few months ago she asked to include my design in an article she was writing for  The article offering useful advice on mixing design styles WENT LIVE yesterday.  Please click HERE to read it.  I am over the moon to have my interiors included (take a minute to check it out, Ally's room is also included)!  Here's a snappy, snappy-
